Die Bedrohung der Menschheit durch zerstörerische Kriege

In Brasilien haben wir es mit einer großen sozialen Gewalt zu tun und einer der höchsten Ermordungsraten der Welt. Wir haben keinen Frieden, da es so viel Wut, Hass, Diskriminierung und eine perverse soziale Ungleichheit gibt.

Dennoch befinden wir uns damit am Rand der großen kriegerischen Konflikte, die in 40 Teilen der Welt vor sich gehen. Einige von ihnen sind eine wahre Bedrohung für die Zukunft der Menschheit. Wir erleben einen Kalten Krieg zwischen den USA, China und Russland. Und ein neues Wettrüsten hat begonnen, sei es in Russland oder in den Vereinigten Staaten mit Trump, um noch stärkere nukleare Waffen zu produzieren, als könnten die bisherigen nicht schon alles Leben auf dem Planeten zerstören.

Am schlimmsten ist, dass die hegemoniale Gewalt USA sich in einen Terrorstaat verwandelt hat, der als eine Art Auslandspolizei einen erbarmungslosen Krieg gegen alle Arten des Terrorismus führt: er fällt in Länder des Mittleren Ostens ein und zu Hause jagt er Einwanderer ohne gültige Papiere, nimmt Verdächtige fest ohne deren Grundrechte zu respektieren als Konsequenz des „Patriot Act“ eingeführt von George Bush Jr., der es ermöglicht, die Habeas-Corpus-Garantie aufzuheben, was Barack Obama hatte abschaffen wollen, es aber doch nicht tat.

Franziskus, der Bischof von Rom, sagte auf seinem Rückweg aus Polen am 12. Juli 2016 im Flugzeug: „Dies ist ein Interessenkrieg, ein Krieg für Geld, für Bodenschätze, ein Krieg, um das Volk zu beherrschen: Das ist der Krieg. Man könnte denken, ich spräche über Religionskriege. Nein. Religionen wollen Frieden. Andere wollen Krieg. Verstanden?“ Dies ist eine direkte Kritik an der aktuellen Weltordnung grenzenloser Anhäufung von Reichtum, die Krieg gegen die Erde und Ausbeutung schwächerer Völker bedeutet. Alle sprechen von Freiheit, doch ohne weltweite soziale Gerechtigkeit. Ironischerweise könnte man sagen: Dies ist die Freiheit von freien Füchsen in einem Stall freier Hühner.

Kommentatoren der aktuellen Weltlage, die nicht in unserer Presse zitiert werden, sprechen von der realen Gefahr eines Atomkriegs zwischen Russland und den Vereinigten Staaten oder zwischen China und den Vereinigten Staaten.

Trump ist, dem französischen Intellektuellen Bernard-Henri Lévy zufolge (O Globo 3/5/2016): „eine Katastrophe für die Vereinigten Staaten und für die Welt. Und er ist auch eine Bedrohung.“ Dieselbe Zeitung sagt über Putin: „Er ist eine ausdrückliche Bedrohung. Wir wissen, dass Putin Europa destabilisieren und die Krisen der Demokratien verstärken will, und er unterstützt und finanziert alle politischen Parteien der extremen Rechten. Wir wissen auch, dass überall, wo es Kämpfe zwischen Barbarei und Zivilisation gibt, wie in Syrien und in der Ukraine, Putin auf der falschen Seite steht. Er ist eine wahre und große Bedrohung.“

Moniz Sodres wunderbarem Buch „World Disorder“ zufolge möchte Putin Rache nehmen für die Demütigung seines Landes durch den Westen und die Vereinigten Staaten am Ende des Kalten Krieges. Er nährt ganz klar expansionistische Vorwände, nicht im Sinne von Wiederherstellung der alten UdSSR, sondern der Wiederherstellung der Grenzen des historischen Russlands. Das Risiko einer atomaren Konfrontation mit dem Westen wird dabei nicht ausgeschlossen.

Wir verlieren die Warnungen der großen Persönlichkeiten des vergangenen Jahrhunderts aus dem Blick, wie die von Bertrand Russell und Albert Einstein vom 10. Juli 1955, denen sich einige Tage später, am 15. Juli 1955 achtzehn weitere Nobelpreisträger anschlossen, u. a. Otto Hahn und Werner Heisenberg, wo es heißt: „Wir sehen voll Schrecken, dass diese Art von nuklearer Wissenschaft der Menschheit die Instrumente für ihre eigene Zerstörung in die Hände legte.“ Dasselbe bekräftigten mehrere Nobelpreisträger in Rio92.

Damals hielt man die Lage für ernst, heute ist sie bereits dramatisch, da es neben atomaren Waffen nun auch chemische und biologische Waffen zur Dezimierung der menschlichen Spezies gibt.

Manche Analysten der Weltkonflikte vermuten, dass die nächste Stufe des Terrorismus sich nicht mehr mit Bomben und Selbstmordattentaten abgeben wird, sondern mit chemischen und biologischen Waffen, u. a. solchen, die Gaddafi hinterlassen hat.

An der Wurzel dieses gewalttätigen Systems liegt das westliche Paradigma des Willens zur Macht, d. h. eine Organisationsweise der Gesellschaft und des Verhältnisses zur Natur auf der Grundlage von Macht, Gewalt und Unterwerfung. Dieses Paradigma stellt Konkurrenz über Solidarität. Anstatt die Bürger zu Partnern zu machen, macht dieses Paradigma sie zu Rivalen.

Die Antwort auf dieses Paradigma der Faust ist die ausgestreckte Hand als ein Bündnis, um das Leben zu retten. Anstelle von Machtherrschaft sollte Achtsamkeit vorherrschen. Sie gehört zur Grundlage des menschlichen Wesens und jeden Lebewesens. Entweder gehen wir diesen Schritt oder wir werden zu Zeugen dramatischer Szenen, der Frucht der Irrationalität und der Arroganz der Staatsoberhäupter und ihrer Scharfmacher.

O golpe de classe jurídico-parlamentar como farsa e tragédia

A euforia dos golpistas que tiraram do poder uma presidenta legitimamente eleita com a forçação de argumentos jurídicos, terminou em poucas semanas. Agora que se conhecem as tramoias, nota-se a farsa que se transformou em tragédia nacional. Ocupam a cena, um presidente ilegítimo, fraco e parco de luzes, grande número de ministros e parlamentares denunciados pela Lava-Jato, que tentam propor com a maior celeridade possível, projetos claramente anti-povo e anti-nação. Pretendem levar até o fim o seu projeto de adesão irrestrita e agora sob Trump envergonhada, à logica do Império que busca nos alinhar a seus interesses geopolíticos.

A tragédia de nossa história que se repete de tempos em tempos é a negação de direitos ao povo, aos pobres, é a difamação dos movimentos e de seus líderes carismáticos. Sempre irrompem no cenário político, as velhas elites, herdeiras da Casa Grande para conspirar contra eles, criminalizar suas movimentos, empurrar os pobres para as periferias de onde nunca deveriam ter saído.

Face a todos esses, as oligarquias e, em geral, os conservadores e até reacionários, mostram-se perversos, apoiados por uma imprensa malvada e sem vínculo com a verdade pois distorce e mente.

A classe dominante se irrita sobremaneira por ter permitido um trabalhador tornar-se Presidente, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, extremamente inteligente, muito mais que a maioria deles, com uma liderança carismática que impressionou o mundo inteiro. Seu governo fez mais transformações que eles, por todo o tempo que estiveram no poder.

Com Lula o povo ganhou centralidade e o considera o maior presidente que este país já teve. Com frequência se ouve de suas bocas: “foi um presidente que sempre pensou em nós, os pobres, e que fez políticas sociais que melhoraram nossas vidas e que nos devolveram dignidade”.

A nossa desigualdade é uma das maiores do mundo. Jessé Souza, ex-presidente do IPEA revelou recentemente que o topo da pirâmide social brasileira é composta por cerca de mais de 71 mil bilhardários E são beneficiados por isenções de impostos sobre lucros e dividendos, enquanto os trabalhadores são penalizados. Por isso que há crise na Previdência cuja solução proposta é tão desumana que muitos jamais poderão se aposentar.      Segundo o Sindicato Nacional dos Procuradores da Fazenda Nacional, 500 bilhões de reais foram sonegados em 2016 especialmente pelas grandes empresas. Por que os governantes não correm atrás desse dinheiro para fechar as contas da Previdência? Por que se acovardam diante da pressão dos poderosos e dos donos da grandes mídias, também elas corrompidas?      Estes endinheirados não negam a democracia, pois seria vergonhoso demais. Mas querem uma democracia de baixa intensidade, um Brasil para poucos e um Estado não de direito mas de privilégio. Ocupam os aparelhos de Estado para mais facilmente se enriquecerem. Quase todos os políticos, com raras exceções, estão metidos em corrupções.

Ao contrário, há grupos progressistas, inclusive empresários nacionalistas, que ganharam corpo no PT e nos seus aliados, não obstante a contaminação de muitos também pela corrupção, postulam um Brasil para todos, autônomo, com projeto nacional próprio que resgata a multidão dos injustamente deserdados com políticas sociais consistentes, visando a completa emancipação.

Todos aqueles que acorriam às ruas contra a Dilma e batiam panelas, andam como zumbis, perplexos e envergonhados pela política de desmonte e entreguista que está sendo implantada.

Há setores da justiça, geralmente de costas para o povo, que avalizaram o golpe, fechando os olhos para aqueles corruptos que preparam e realizaram o golpe, única forma de arrebatar o poder central que não conseguiriam conquistar pelo voto. Penso no PSDB, partido pretensioso, cuja base social é a classe média conservadora e intelectuais afins ao sistema-mundo, com mentalidade neocolonialista.

Estes renovaram a tragédia política brasileira como foi com Vargas e com Jango, culminando com a ditadura militar. Agora no lugar dos tanques e das baionetas funcionaram as tramoias parlamentares, e com uma jurisprudência capenga, por vezes histérica, para afastar a presidenta Dilma Rousseff. O grande analista das políticas internacionais, Moniz Bandeira, nos advertiu da presença dos órgãos de segurança dos USA na montagem e realização do golpe no Brasil, como fizeram antes em Honduras, depois no Paraguai e agora no Brasil. Trata-se de controlar a 7º economia do mundo e enfraquecer os BRICS onde o Brasil está.

Mas não triunfarão. O povo despertou, mantem viva a esperança que forjará a reconstrução do Brasil.

The Threat to Humanity of Highly Destructive Wars

In Brazil we know great social violence, with a murder rate among the highest in the world. We have no peace because there is so much rage, hatred, discrimination, and a perverse social inequality.

Nevertheless, we are on the margins of the great martial conflicts going on in 40 parts of the world, some of which are truly menacing for the future of the human species. We are witnessing a cold war between the United States, China and Russia. A new arms race has began, be it in Russia, or in the United States with Trump, to produce ever more potent nuclear weapons, as if those already in existence could not destroy all life on the planet.

The worst is that the hegemonic power, the United States, has transformed itself into a terrorist state, waging a merciless war against all types of terrorism, as a foreign policy: invading countries in the Middle East, and at home, chasing undocumented immigrants, detaining suspects without respect for their fundamental rights, as a consequence of George Bush, Jr’s, “Patriot Act”, that allowed suspension of habeas corpus, which Barack Obama promised to abolish, but did not.

Francis, Bishop of Rome, said on the plane on his way back from Poland, on July 12, 2016: «there is a war of interests, war for money, war for natural resources, there is a war to dominate the people: this is the war. Someone could think: is he talking about wars among religions. No. Religions want peace. Others want war. Capiche?» That is a direct criticism of the current world order of limitless accumulation, that implies war against the Earth and the exploitation of weaker peoples. Everyone talks of freedom, but without world social justice. Ironically it could be said: it is the freedom of free foxes in a coup of free hens.

Commentators of the world situation not quoted by our press speak of the real danger of a nuclear war between Russia and the United States or between China and the United States.

Trump, as French intellectual Bernard-Henri Lévy puts it (O Globo 3/5/2016) «is a catastrophe for the United States and the world. And he is also a threat». The same newspaper says about Putin: «he is an explicit threat. We know Putin wants to destabilize Europe, to accentuate the crises of the democracies, and he supports and finances all political parties of the extreme right. We also know that in all places where there is a battle between barbarism and civilization, such as Syria and Ukraine, Putin is on the wrong side. He is a true and great threat».

According to Moniz Sodre in his magnificent book, World Disorder, Putin wants revenge for the humiliation the West and the United States inflicted on his country at the end of the Cold War. He nourishes clearly expansionist pretenses, not in the sense of recreating the old USSR, but of restoring the boundaries of historic Russia. The risk of a nuclear confrontation with the West is not excluded.

We are losing sight of the warnings from the great names of the past century, such as Bertrand Russell and Albert Einstein, on July 10, 1955 and a few days later, July 15, 1955, joined by 18 Nobel laureates, Otto Hahn and Werner Heisenberg among them, when they affirmed: «we see with horror that this type of nuclear science has put in the hands of humanity the instrument of its own destruction». The same was affirmed by several Nobel laureates during Rio-92.

If the situation was seen as grave at that time, now it is dramatic. This is because besides nuclear weapons, chemical and biological weapons capable of decimating the human species are now available.

Some analysts of world conflicts suppose that the next step of terrorism would no longer be with bombs and suicide-bombers, but with chemical and biological weapons, some taken from the weapons reserve left by Kadafi.

At the root of this system of violence is the Western paradigm of the will to power, that is, a way of organizing society and the relationship with nature based on force, violence and submission. This paradigm favors competition over solidarity. Instead of making the citizens partners, this paradigm makes them rivals.

To the paradigm of the closed fist, the response is the extended hand, as an alliance to safeguard life. Instead of power-domination, caring should prevail. It pertains to the essence of the human being and of everything alive. Either we take this step or we will witness dramatic scenes, the fruit of the irrationality and arrogance of the heads of State and their hawks.

ALLA CULTURA DELLA VIOLENZA OPPONIAMO LA CULTURA DELLA PACE

Il mio sentimento del mondo mi dice che viviamo all’interno di una violenza mondiale sistemica. Troppo lungo enumerare tutti i tipi di violenza, che però è così globalizzata, che il vescovo di Roma, il papa Francesco ha affermato per tre volte, che siamo dentro a una terza guerra mondiale. Non è impossibile che una nuova guerra fredda tra USA, Russia e Cina finisca per scatenare un conflitto nucleare.

Se si verifica questa tragica eventualità, sarà la fine del sistema vita e della specie umana. Questo stato di permanente belligeranza deriva dalla logica del paradigma civilizzatore affermatosi lentamente per secoli fino, ad arrivare alla forma parossistica dei nostri giorni: l’illusione che l’essere umano sia un “piccolo dio” che si colloca al di sopra delle cose per dominarle e accumulare benefici a costo di danneggiare la natura e intere popolazioni. Abbiamo perso la nozione di appartenenza alla terra e che siamo parte della natura. Tale coscienza ci porterebbe a una confraternizzazione con tutti gli esseri di questo magnifico pianeta.

Urge un nuovo rapporto con la natura e con la Terra, rapporto fatto di sinergia, rispetto, convivenza, attenzioni e senso di responsabilità collettiva.

Questa relazione conviviale è sempre stata viva in tutte le culture dell’Occidente e dell’Oriente, specialmente tra i nostri popoli nativi, che nutrono un profondo rispetto verso la Terra.

Nella nostra cultura abbiamo la figura emblematica di San Francesco di Assisi aggiornata dal vescovo di Roma Francesco, nella sua enciclica Laudato si: cura della Casa Comune. Proclama il poverello di Assisi “Santo Patrono di tutti coloro che studiano e lavorano nel campo dell’ecologia…Per Francesco, qualsiasi creatura era sorella unita a lui con vincoli di amore. Per questo si sentiva chiamato a prendersi cura di tutto quello che esiste”(n.10 e 11). Con un certo humor ricorda che “Francesco chiedeva che in convento si lasciasse sempre una parte dell’orto dedicata alle piante selvatiche (n.12), perché anch’esse, a modo loro, lodano Dio.

Questo atteggiamento di tenerezza lo conduceva a spostare, durante le passeggiate, eventuali lombrichi che rischiavano di essere schiacciati lungo il sentiero.

Per San Francesco tutti gli esseri sono animati e personalizzati. Per intuizione spirituale scoperse quello che noi sappiamo oggi per via scientifica (Crick e Dowson, quelli che hanno decifrato il DNA) che tutti noi viventi siamo parenti, cugini, fratelli e sorelle: il sole, la luna, il, lupo di Gubbio perfino la morte. Questa visione supera la cultura della violenza e inaugura la cultura dell’amore e della pace.

San Francesco realizzò pienamente la splendida definizione che la Carta della Terra ha trovato per la pace: “E’ quella pienezza creata da relazioni corrette con se stessi, con le altre persone, altre culture, altre vite, con la Terra, con il Tutto più grande di cui siamo parte”(n.16).

Il papa Francesco pare aver realizzato le condizioni per la pace come predica dappertutto e personalmente dimostra. Ha espresso emotivamente un pensiero che sempre ritorna nell’enciclica: “Tutto sta in relazione, e tutti noi esseri umani camminiamo uniti, fratelli e sorelle in un meraviglioso cammino, abbracciati nell’amore che Dio ha per le sue creature e che ci unisce pure con sentimenti di tenero affetto al fratello Sole, alla sorella Luna, al fratello fiume, e alla Madre Terra” (n.92).

Altrove ha trovato la seguente formulazione, ora critica: “E’ necessario risvegliare la coscienza che siamo un’unica famiglia umana. Non ci sono frontiere né barriere politiche o sociali che permettano di isolarsi e perciò stesso, è proprio per questo non c’è spazio per globalizzare l’indifferenza (n.52).

Da questo atteggiamento di totale apertura, che tutti abbraccia e nessuno viene escluso è nata una pace imperturbabile, senza paura né minacce, pace di coloro che si sentono sempre in casa con genitori, fratelli, sorelle con tutte le creature.

Invece di violenza, pone i fondamenti della cultura della pace: amore, capacità di sopportare le contraddizioni, perdono, misericordia e riconciliazione al di là di ogni presupposto e esigenza previa.

Quando l’enciclica abborda il problema della pace, il vescovo di Roma, Francesco, ripete quello che Gandhi e altri avevano già detto: “La pace non è assenza di guerra. La pace interiore delle persone ha molto a che vedere con la cura, con l’ecologia e il bene comune, perché quando è vissuta autenticamente riflette un equilibrato stile di vita, alleato alla capacità di ammirazione che porta alla profondità della vita, la natura è piena di parole e di amore (n.225). In un altro passo afferma: “La gratuità ci conduce ad amare e accettare il vento, il sole, le nuvole, anche se non stanno sotto il nostro controllo. Così possiamo parlare di fratellanza universale” (n.228).

Con questa sua visione della pace e della gratuità, egli rappresenta un’altro modo di-essere- e-di-stare-nel-mondo-con gli altri, una alternativa al modo di essere della modernità che sta fuori e sopra gli altri non insieme con gli altri convivendo nella stessa Casa Comune.

La scoperta e l’esperienza vissuta di questa fratellanza cosmica ci aiuterà a uscire dalla crisi attuale, ci renderà l’innocenza perduta e ci farà venire la nostalgia del paradiso terrestre, i cui segni possiamo anticipare.
