Chi ha svergognato il Brasile qui e fuori di qui

Appartiene alla cultura popolare del calcio fischiare certi giocatori, gli arbitri e anche qualche autorità. Ma gli insulti con parolacce, che possono essere ascoltate anche dai bambini, sono inauditi nel mondo del calcio in Brasile. Questi insulti sono stati rivolti contro la massima autorità del paese, la presidente Dilma Rousseff, che era defilata nel retro della galleria dello stadio.

Questi insulti vergognosi potevano venire solo dal tipo di persone che hanno ancora visibilità nel paese, “le minoranze bianchissime di classe A, ignoranti e sessiste”, ha detto la sociologa del Centro di Studio Femminile, Ana Thurler.

Chi conosce un po’ della storia del Brasile o quelli che hanno letto Gilberto Freyre, Jose Honorio Rodrigues, Sérgio Buarque de Hollanda sanno immediatamente individuare tali gruppi. Sono settori delle nostre élite, i più conservatori del mondo e indietro nel processo di civilizzazione globale, come è stato sottolineato da Darcy Ribeiro: settori che per 500 anni hanno occupato lo stato e hanno beneficiato di questo potere, negando diritti civili per garantirsi privilegi corporativi. Questi gruppi non hanno ancora deciso di dimenticare la gogna dove erano flagellati gli schiavi neri. Non solo la loro bocca è sporca; questa è sporca perché la loro mente è sporca. Sono obsoleti e credono ancora nei vecchi paradigmi del passato, quando vivevano nel lusso e nel consumismo sfrenato come al tempo dei principi rinascimentali.

Senza alcun senso del limite e, quindi, in modo così arrogante, pensa di poter dire ciò che vuole e insultare mancando il rispetto a qualsiasi autorità.

Quello che è successo ha mostrato ai brasiliani e al mondo che tipo di leadership c’è ancora in Brasile. Ci hanno svergognati qui e all’estero. Ignorante, senza educazione e impertinente non è il popolo, come pensano e dicono loro. Sfacciato, incolto, ignorante e maleducato è il gruppo che pensa e dice questo del popolo. Sono settori che nella stragrande maggioranza vivono di rendita, di speculazione finanziaria e tengono milioni di dollari all’estero, in banche straniere e in paradisi fiscali.

Bene ha detto la presidente Dilma: “Il popolo non reagisce così, è estremamente generoso e civile ed educato”. Può fischiare molto. Ma non usa un linguaggio offensivo e sessista contro una donna, proprio colei che ha la più alta rappresentazione del paese. Con serenità e senso di sovranità ha dato a questi incivili una risposta dettata dalla propria personale esperienza: “Ho sofferto aggressioni fisiche quasi insopportabile e nulla mi ha fatto deviare dalla mia rotta”. Si riferiva alle torture a cui fu sottoposta dagli agenti dello stato del terrore che si stabilirono in Brasile dal 1968. Nella dichiarazione fatta in seguito dalla televisione ha mostrato che non è fuori rotta né ha paura perché si muove su altri valori e intende essere all’altezza del nostro paese.

Questo episodio imbarazzante è stato respinto dalla maggior parte degli analisti politici e di coloro che si sono espressi pubblicamente. Tuttavia, la reazione dei due candidati a sostituirla nella presidenza è stata pietosa. Praticamente hanno usato quasi le stesse espressioni, in linea con i gruppi incriminati: “Lei raccoglie ciò che semina”, disse uno. L’altro ha accennato che meritava gli insulti ricevuti. Solo spiriti poveri e privi di senso della dignità potrebbero reagire in questo modo. E questi sono coloro che vorrebbero dirigere il destino del nostro paese. Con questo spirito! Siamo stanchi di leadership mediocri come galline che scavano nella terra, incapace di sollevarsi in volo come aquile ad alta quota e con la grandezza proporzionata alle dimensioni del nostro paese.

Un amico di Monaco di Baviera che conosce bene il portoghese, sconvolto dagli insulti, ha commentato: “Nemmeno nel tempo del nazismo si insultavano così le autorità”. Forse non sa che tipo di preistoria abbiamo vissuto e quali settori d’elite continuano a dominaci e con quali modi arroganti si esprimono. Essi sono i principali responsabili del nostro sottosviluppo sociale, culturale ed etico. Abbiamo subito una vergogna che, davvero, non meritiamo.

Who embarrassed Brazil at home and abroad

Those who know something of the history of Brazil, or who have read Gilberto Freyre, Jose Honorio Rodrigues and Sergio Buarque de Hollanda, know how to identify such groups immediately. They are sectors of our elites, the most conservative in the world, who lag well behind in the process of global civilization, as Darcy Ribeiro used to point out; sectors that for 500 years occupied the levers of the State and voraciously benefited from it, denying the rights of citizens in order to guarantee corporative privileges. These groups have not yet rid themselves of the Big Mansion with which they are fixated, nor have they forgotten the pillory were the Black slaves were beaten. President Dilma put it well: “the people do not react this way; the people are civilized and extremely generous and educated”. The people can boo, and plenty do. But the people do not insult a woman with machista and chulo language, especially not the woman who holds the highest office in the country. With serenity and a palpable sense of dignity, Dilma personally replied to these uncivilized groups: “I have endured almost unbearable physical aggressions and nothing has deterred me from my path”. She was referring to the torture to which she was subjected by agents of the State of terror installed in Brazil beginning in 1968. In the speech she made later on television, she proved that nothing either deters her from her path, or scares her, because she lives with different values and aspires to be in consonance with the greatness of our country.

This shameful act was rejected by the majority of analysts and of those who spoke out publicly. However, the reaction of the two candidates to replace her in the Presidency was lamentable. They used practically the same expressions, in line with the brutish groups: “She is reaping what she sowed” said one. Another implied that she deserves the insults she received. Only the mean spirited and those lacking a sense of dignity could react in this manner. And they are the ones who want to define the destiny of the country. With that spirit! We are tired of mediocre leadership that continues scratching at the soil, like chickens, incapable of taking flight like the eagles we deserve, with a greatness proportionate to the size of our country.

A friend from Munich, who understands Portuguese well, was impacted by the insults, and commented: “not even in Nazi times were the authorities insulted in this manner”. Perhaps he does not know the history we have lived, the type of elite sectors that continue to dominate, and the overbearing manner in which they make themselves heard. They are primarily responsible for keeping us socially, culturally and ethically underdeveloped. They shame us in a manner that we really do not deserve.

Erneuerung unseres natürlichen Vertrages mit der Erde

Bis zum heutigen Tag bestand der Traum des Weißen Mannes aus dem Abendland darin, die Erde zu beherrschen und sich alle anderen Lebewesen zu unterwerfen, um daraus grenzenlosen Profit zu ziehen. Dieser Traum hat sich durch die Globalisierung weltweit ausgebreitet und ist nun, vierhundert Jahre später, zu einem Alptraum geworden. Die Apokalypse kann heute mehr denn je durch uns ausgelöst werden, wie der bedeutende Historiker Arnold Toynbee vor seinem Tode schrieb.

Aus diesem Grund müssen wir unsere Menschlichkeit und Zivilisation durch eine anders gelagerte Beziehung mit der Erde neu erfinden, sodass die Erde nachhaltig werden kann, d. h. damit die Bedingungen für die Aufrechterhaltung und Reproduktion erfüllt werden, um das Leben unseres Planeten zu erhalten. Dies wird nur möglich sein, wenn wir den natürlichen Vertrag mit der Erde wieder ernst nehmen und wenn wir bedenken, dass alle Lebewesen, die Träger desselben genetischen Codes sind wie wir, die große Lebensgemeinschaft auf der Erde bilden. Jedes Wesen besitzt einen intrinsischen Wert und ist daher mit Rechten ausgestattet.

Alle Verträge gehen von Gegenseitigkeit aus, von wechselseitigem Austausch und der Anerkennung der Rechte beider Parteien. Von der Erde erhalten wir alles: Leben und alles, was wir zum Leben brauchen. Im Gegenzug haben wir im Namen des natürlichen Vertrages die Pflicht zur Dankbarkeit, zur Gegenseitigkeit und Achtsamkeit, sodass die Erde ihre Lebenskraft erhalten und das tun kann, was sie schon immer für uns alle tat. Doch wir brachen diesen Vertrag vor langer Zeit.

Um diesen natürlichen Vertrag zu erneuern, müssen wir wie der Verlorene Sohn aus dem Gleichnis Jesu handeln. Wir müssen wieder zur Erde zurückkehren, zu unserem Gemeinsamen Haus, und um Vergebung bitten. Vergebung setzt einen Wandel in unserem Verhalten voraus, in Bezug auf den Respekt und die Achtsamkeit, die die Erde verdient. Die Erde ist unsere Mutter, die Pacha-Mama des Anden-Volks und die Gaia der modernen Menschen. Wenn wir diese Verbindung nicht wiederherstellen, wird es für uns schwierig werden zu überleben. Möglicherweise wird die Erde uns nicht mehr auf sich dulden wollen. Deshalb ist Nachhaltigkeit hier und jetzt so essentiell. Entweder kann diese sich durchsetzen, oder wir werden zu Zeugen einer Tragödie für das Lebenssystem und die menschliche Spezies.

Schon immer haben wir den natürlichen Vertrag gebrochen, und dennoch sendet uns Mutter Erde immer noch positive Zeichen. Trotz der Erderwärmung und des Schwindens der Artenvielfalt scheint noch immer die Sonne, singt die sabia, die brasilianische Drossel, jeden Morgen, lächeln die Blumen alle Passanten an, gleiten die Kolibris über die Knospen der Lilien, werden immer noch Kinder geboren und bestätigen uns, dass Gott noch immer an die Menschheit glaubt und dass sie eine Zukunft hat.

Die Erneuerung des natürlichen Vertrags impliziert, dass die Vision und die Werte aufrecht erhalten werden, die in der Rede des Indianerhäuptlings Seattle, dem Stammesoberhaupt der Duwamish, zum Ausdruck gebracht wurden, welche er im Jahr 1856 in Gegenwart von Isaac Stevens hielt, dem Gouverneur des Washingtoner Territoriums:

Alles, was der Mensch diesem Stoff antut, tut er sich selbst an. … Wir könnten die Absichten des Weißen Mannes verstehen, würden wir seine Träume kennen, wüssten wir von seinen Hoffnungen, die er seinen Söhnen und Töchtern in den langen Winternächten weitergibt, und welche Visionen für der Zukunft er ihnen vorstellt, sodass sie Träume für morgen daraus weben können.“

Am 22. April 2009 akzeptierte die Versammlung der Vereinten Nationen nach langen und komplizierten Verhandlungen einstimmig die Vorstellung, dass die Erde eine Mutter ist. Diese Aussage ist bedeutungsschwer. Die Erde kann als Grund und Boden abgetragen, benutzt, ge- und verkauft werden. Die Erde als Mutter kann weder ver- noch gekauft werden, sondern nur geliebt, respektiert und geachtet, so wie wie es mit Müttern zu tun pflegen. Ein solches Verhalten wird den natürlichen Vertrag bekräftigen, der für die Nachhaltigkeit unseres Planeten sorgen wird, denn es stellt die gegenseitige Beziehung wieder her.

Der Präsident Boliviens, Evo Morales Ayma, der aus einer indigenen Aymara-Familie stammt, betont immer wieder, dass das 21. Jahrhundert das Jahrhundert der Rechte von Mutter Erde, der Natur und aller Lebewesen sein wird. In seinem Beitrag zur Sitzung der UN Versammlung am 22. April 2009, bei der auch ich mit einer Rede über die theoretische Begründung, warum die Erde eine Mutter ist, teilnahm, zählte er prägnant einige der Rechte von Mutter Erde auf:

– das Recht auf Erneuerung der Lebensfähigkeit von Mutter Erde,

– das Lebensrecht aller Lebewesen, insbesondere derer, die vom Aussterben bedroht sind,

– das Recht auf ein Leben in Reinheit, denn Mutter Erde hat das Recht auf ein Leben ohne Kontaminierung und Verschmutzung,

– das Recht aller Bürgerinnen und Bürger auf ein gutes Leben,

– das Recht, mit allen Dingen in Einklang und Gleichgewicht zu leben,

– das Recht auf die Verbindung mit dem Ganzen, dessen Teil wir sind.

Diese Vision ermöglicht uns, den natürlichen Vertrag mit der Erde zu erneuern, der, in Verbindung mit dem sozialen Vertrag unter ihren Bürgerinnen und Bürgern, schließlich die Nachhaltigkeit des Planeten verstärken wird.

Für die indigenen Völker ist eine solche Haltung selbstverständlich. Wir haben in dem Maß, in dem wir die Verbindung zur Natur verloren haben, ebenso das Bewusstsein für die Beziehung von Wissen und Dankbarkeit der Erde gegenüber verloren. Daher ist es so wichtig, dass wir uns intensiver mit diesen Völkern befassen und von ihnen lernen, der Erde den Respekt und die Verehrung zukommen zu lassen, die sie verdient.

Pertence à cultura popular do futebol a vaia a certos jogadores, a juízes e eventualmente a alguma autoridade presente. Insultos e xingamentos com linguagem de baixo calão que sequer crianças podem ouvir é coisa inaudita no futebol do Brasil. Foram dirigidos à mais alta autoridade do pais, à Presidenta Dilma Rousseff, retraída nos fundos da arquibancada oficial.

Esses insultos vergonhosos só podiam vir de um tipo de gente que ainda têm visibilidade do pais, “gente branquíssima e de classe A, com falta de educação e sexista’ como comentou a socióloga do Centro Feminista de Estudos, Ana Thurler.

Quem conhece um pouco a história do Brasil ou quem leu Gilberto Freyre, José Honório Rodrigues ou Sérgio Buarque de Hollanda sabe logo identificar tais grupos. São setores de nossa elite, dos mais conservadores do mundo e retardatários no processo civilizatório mundial, como costumava enfatizar Darcy Ribeiro, setores que por 500 anos ocuparam o espaço do Estado e dele se beneficiaram a mais não poder, negando direitos cidadãos para garantir privilégios corporativos. Estes grupos não conseguiram ainda se livrar da Casa Grande que a tem entrenhada na cabeça e nunca esqueceram o pelourinho onde eram flagelados escravos negros. Não apenas a boca é suja; esta é suja porque sua mente é suja. São velhistas e pensam ainda dentro dos velhos paradigmas do passado quando viviam no luxo e no consumo conspícuo como no tempo dos príncipes renascentistas.

Na linguagem dura de nosso maior historiador mulato Capistrano de Abreu, grande parte da elite sempre “capou e recapou, sangrou e ressangrou” o povo brasileiro. E continua fazendo. Sem qualquer senso de limite e por isso, arrogante, pensa que pode dizer os palavrões que quiser e desrespeitar qualquer autoridade.

O que ocorreu revelou aos demais brasileiros e ao mundo que tipo de tipo de lideranças temos ainda no Brasil. Envergonharam-nos aqui e lá fora. Ignorante, sem educação e descarado não é o povo, como costumam pensar e dizer. Descarado, sem educação e ignorante é o grupo que pensa e diz isso do povo. São setores em sua grande maioria rentistas que vivem da especulação financeira e que mantém milhões e milhões de dólares fora do país, em bancos estrangeiros ou em paraísos fiscais.

Bem disse a Presidenta Dilma: “o povo não reage assim; é civilizado e extremamente generoso e educado”. Ele pode vaiar e muito. Mas não insulta com linguagem xula e machista a uma mulher, exatamente aquela que ocupa a mais alta representação do país. Com serenidade e senso de soberania pessoal deu a estes incivilizados uma respota de cunho pessoal:”Suportei agressões físicas quase insuportáveis e nada me tirou do rumo”. Referia-se às suas torturas sofridas dos agentes do Estado de terror que se havia instalado no Brasil a partir de 1968. O pronunciamento que fez posteriormente na TV mostrou que nada a tira do rumo nem a abala porque vive de outros valores e pretende estar à altura da grandeza de nosso país.

Esse fato vergonhoso recebeu a repulsa da maioria dos analistas e dos que sairam a público para se manfiestar. Lamentável, entretanto, foi a reação dos dois candidatos a substitui-la no cargo de Presidente. Praticamente usaram as mesmas expressões, na linha dos grupos embrutecidos:”Ela colhe o que plantou”. Ou o outro deu a entender que fez por merecer os insultos que recebeu. Só espíritos tacanhos e faltos de senso de dignidade podiam reagir desta forma. E estes se apresentam como aqueles que querem definir os destinos do país. E logo com este espírito! Estamos fartos de lideranças medíocres que quais galinhas continuam ciscando o chão, incapazes de erguer o voo alto das águias que merecemos e que tenham a grandeza proporcional ao tamanho de nosso país.

Um amigo de Munique que sabe bem o portugues, perplexo com os insultos comentou:”nem no tempo do nazismo se insultavam desta forma as autoridades”. É que ele talvez não sabe de que pré-história nós viemos e que tipo de setores elitistas ainda dominam e que de forma prepotente se mostram e se fazem ouvir. São eles os principais agentes que nos mantém no subdesenvolvimento social, cultural e ético. Fazem-nos passar uma vergonha que, realmente, não merecemos.
